As this site is currently configured, kagesystem.com sets no cookies of its own and runs no cross-site tracking. There is no consent banner because, at present, there is nothing to consent to. This page explains that in full, and sets out what would change if we ever enable advertising.
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. Similar technologies — local storage, session storage, tracking pixels, and device fingerprinting — achieve comparable results by different means. Where this policy says "cookies", it covers all of them.
Under the Serbian Law on Personal Data Protection and the GDPR, cookies that are strictly necessary to deliver a service you asked for may be set without consent. Everything else — analytics that identifies you, personalisation, and advertising — requires your prior, freely given consent.

Consent banners exist to obtain permission for non-essential cookies. We do not set any, so a banner would be theatre. We prefer the version of privacy that involves not collecting the data in the first place.
If that changes, the banner appears before the cookie does — not after.
This site carries no advertising. There is no ad network, no ad script, no ad slot, and no advertising cookie. Inspect the page source and you will find no third-party ad request, because there is no ad code to make one.
This is a deliberate choice rather than a temporary state. Display advertising would mean loading third-party code that profiles our readers, which is difficult to reconcile with selling security and privacy engineering for a living.
If that ever changed, we would not do it quietly: the change would be announced on the site, this page and our Privacy Policy would be updated first, and a consent banner blocking every advertising cookie until you actively accepted it would ship before any ad script loaded.
If we offer an email newsletter, subscribing requires only that you submit your address and confirm it. Subscription does not set a tracking cookie on this site. Our email provider may use tracking pixels in the messages themselves to record opens and clicks; where it does, that will be stated at the point of signup and in the Privacy Policy, and you can defeat it by disabling remote image loading in your mail client.
Every major browser lets you view, block, and delete cookies, typically under Settings → Privacy. You can block third-party cookies entirely, and most browsers offer a strict tracking-protection mode. Blocking cookies will not degrade this site, because it does not rely on any.
Browser-level signals such as Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track are respected: since we run no tracking, there is nothing for them to switch off, and we will honour them if that ever changes.
We will update this page whenever the technologies used on this site change, and revise the effective date shown above. Material changes — in particular, enabling advertising — will additionally be surfaced on the site itself.
